Description
In timber framing and log home manufacturing, there are so many reasons to cut grooves in your timbers and now there is an innovative tool for precisely making these grooves. The Mafell NFU32 utilizes a unique expanding groove cutter head with reversible TCT knives, which can be quickly adjusted with spacer rings up to a maximum width of 1-1/16".
With its powerful 230V motor, there is no virtually no limit to what you can cut with this tool. The NFU32 cuts grooves as deep as 1-1/4", at angles up to 45°, and comes with a parallel fence for accurate ripping. Reversible TCT knives ensure tear-free cuts, and an available guide track enables accurate square or angle cuts. This is a cost effective and reliable groover.
