Description
German engineered power, precision and quality, with well-designed features throughout the entire planer range. The 8-1/16" and 9-5/8" models have a v-groove in the base to help facilitate the chamfering of beams. Guide rollers on all models assist in making the full planning width of the blades useable, while the long front and rear bases allow for smooth transition both onto and off of the beam. Depth is accurately and easily adjusted with a front handle that rotates to the clearly marked settings. Reversible blades are a durable tri-metal design, precisely ground for high cutting performance, long service life and a smooth planed finish. The more than adequate power is supplied by an SSB-electronics motor that features soft starting, run-out brake, constant speed and overload protection. Whether you are working on 6" x 8" or 12" x 12" beams, we have the right planer for you.
