Mafell A 18M bl Cordless Drill Driver

Put away your extension cords:  the most precise portable drill press just became more portable!  Mafell’s A 18M bl is the ideal cordless drill for Mafell BST Drilling Stations thanks to its 1-11/16” (43mm) diameter clamping collar, and it packs more than enough power for the largest WoodOwl Ultra-Smooth Auger Bits.  With eleven different torque settings, 1st & 2nd gear options, and a variable-speed trigger – this drill/driver produces just the right amount of torque for a host of applications – and the accessory A-DMV 3x Torque Head is available for triple torque in extreme situations.  A smart button on top of the tool allows the user to quickly convert between drilling, screw-driving, and the innovative “impulse” function (to remove stripped screws, or drill on smooth surfaces such as tile).  All these features come in the ultra-durable and ergonomic design that one would expect from the best of the best Mafell tools.

The A 18M bl works perfectly with smaller lightweight batteries (total weight is 3.8 lbs without chuck) due to the highly-efficient 18 V brushless and processor-controlled technology.  Individual cell state and temperature are monitored for long service life, and battery charge level is viewable anytime with the press of a button.  The base of the drill has LEDs to highlight your work on the go, as well as two convenient magnetic bit holders and a handy belt clip that attaches to the left or right side of the machine.  For storage and transport, the compact 16” x 12” x 7” T-MAX carrying case holds all the A 18M bl components including two batteries and 120 V charger.  There’s no need to store chuck keys or wrenches anymore – the chuck, bit holder, and accessory A-WV 18 Angle Head easily swap and tighten in seconds using the quick-release system!

There are two versions of the A 18M bl to choose from.  The “PURE” version is available for users who already have the compatible Mafell/Metabo Batteries and Charger, whereas the Complete A 18M bl comes with two Mafell LiHD 72 watt-hour batteries and the 120 V charger.
