Mafell KF 1000 Edge Router

Mafell’s NEW KF 1000 is the ideal 230 V tool for finishing flush and profiled edges.  Cutting depth is set precisely with the threaded collar and fine scale to the tenth of a millimeter.  The large non-tilt contact table allows for steady machining and accurate results, even of beveled edges.  And with sensitive materials, a friction ring brake prevents ugly machining marks.

The KF 1000 excels on a variety of materials such as plastics, veneers, and even solid wood edges that can be machined with commercially available cutters.  Cutting speed is easily adjusted between 4,000 and 25,000 rpm for optimal performance.  The center contact ring can be removed for machining edges, and the plug-in fence serves as a reliable guide when machining corners.

Quality-of-life features include a spindle lock for simple cutter changes, an adjustable extraction hose adapter to suit working position, and extremely quiet operation of only 71 dB(A).  Digital electronics support smooth starting, constant speed under load, no-load speed reduction and overload protection.  And the labyrinth seal permanently protects the spindle and bearing from even the smallest particles, dust and chips for long-term durability.
