Mafell's 14mm slot mortising chain for the LS 103Ec has 59 links and produces a mortise ~9/16" wide by 1-15/16" long by 15-11/16" deep (14mm x 50mm x 400mm)
In theory a 13mm chain could work for 1/2" plates, but in practice this 14mm chain works better
Customers recommend spraying chain with LU202 Lubricant every 30 to 60 minutes of use
