For its 100th anniversary, we're marking the occasion with $1,926 off a complete Mafell LS 103Ec Chain Mortiser system including two chains.  The figure is deliberate: $1,926 for the year it all started.

The centennial configuration starts at $5,289 (for 1.5" tenons) or $5,421 (for 2.0" tenons) each $1,926 off its regular retail price.

A Century of Chain Mortising

The Mafell LS 103Ec is built for the work that made the chain mortiser indispensable in timber framing:  fast, precise mortising without giving up control.  It cuts mortises more than 5x faster than Makita's comparable chain mortiser—no clamping needed—and does a full 1.5” or 2.0" in a single plunge.

We're bundling this centennial system with two chains for a practical reason.  A spare means you swap chains instead of pushing a dull one:  keeping the cut clean and the motor from working harder than it should.  For the centennial, we're building that second chain into the configuration.
