Mafell's New K105—Meet the World's Largest Cordless Track Saw

We're excited to introduce a tool that solves a problem most of you have been working around for years.

If you've spent any time cutting 4x4 posts: deck framing, pergola work, timber joinery, fence posts—you’ve made peace with one of two options. Mafell K105-18 Cordless Circular Saw At 4-5/16" cutting depth off track, it clears a 4x4 cleanly in one pass. It weighs just over 20 lbs (a full 10 pounds lighter than the MKS 130Ec) making it a genuine one-person operation anywhere on a job site. It comes in as low as $2,125—roughly half the cost of the larger alternative. The K105-18 runs two 18V batteries in tandem for sustained 36V output with variable speed control, tips to 60 degrees for bevel work, and is fully compatible with the Mafell F-Series Guide Rail System and KSS 370 Cross-Cutting Track. That last point is worth emphasizing: this is a TRACK SAW with 4x4 depth capacity, which means glue-ready precision on structural lumber in a CORDLESS package, something that simply didn't exist before.

The K105-18 also supports a purpose-built blade selection worth knowing about. The 52T SIP-Cutting Blade tackles composite materials, structural insulated panels, and metal-embedded sandwich boards—work that would chew through a standard blade. The 20T Insulation-Cutting Blade cuts cleanly through wood fiber insulation, rigid foam and lightweight panels, with self-sharpening carbide teeth and a reversible side for extended service life. Both extend the saw well beyond dimensional lumber into the full range of materials on a modern job site. The L-BOXX Trolley Case rounds out the kit—IP65 rated, with caster wheels, a telescopic handle, and stackable L-MAX systainer compatibility so your blades and accessories travel with the saw as one organized unit.

Mafell Wins Gold at Track Saw Head-To-Head

The 2026 Winter Olympics featured awesome USA performances in hockey and figure skating, but our favorite competition the last few months was Mafell defending its title as Cordless Track Saw Champion—this time against a much larger field!
