Preparing yourself for building season means investing in good people, good materials, and yes good tools.  To that end it’s important that we give you a proper 10-day heads-up: on March 1st the vast majority of Mafell and Arunda prices will increase on the order of about 9%.  Some prices will be higher than that, some lower, but nothing will be going down.  Now is the time to stock up on Blades, Bits, Chains, and New Tools.

Absorbing price increases is never enjoyable, but we’re thankful that Mafell increases have actually been lower than our other vendors this past year.  And knowing in advance gives you the opportunity to take advantage of last year’s prices as long as possible.  Please call or email if you need any quotes before the end of February to lock in the lower prices now.

Mafell not only makes the best power tools in the world, but also has wonderful people running the business behind the scenes.  It has been a pleasure working with Matthias Krauss who recently stepped down after 22 years as CEO.  We’ll especially remember going up in his small plane for free tours of the Black Forest, and of course enjoying a Chicago steak together.  You will be missed Matthias, but because of your professionalism we know that a seamless transition to new leadership and innovations are happening as we speak.  Danke schön!
