Description
The Mafell LS 103Ec is a truly impressive chain mortiser, featuring a powerful 120v motor, chain bars which do not require lubrication, and chrome-hardened chains for long life. This mortiser is available with 1.5" and 2.0" chain/bar set-ups to rapidly produce timber frame mortises with the sturdy FG150 mortise stand.
The tensioning system of the LS 103Ec allows for fast chain replacement. Even retightening the chain is quick and easy without having to remove the chain guard. The LS 103Ec can also cut narrow slots and horizontal grooves with the available SG230 and SG400 slotting stands and special chains from 1/4" to 13/16" wide.
