We hope to see many of you at the Mass Timber Conference in Oregon and JLC LIVE in Rhode Island later this month!

Mafell will be at the International Mass Timber Conference in Portland, Oregon March 25-27 teaming up with our friends from Rotho Blaas and the United Brotherhood of Carpenters.  Check out Booth 468, Exhibit Hall D on Tuesday 4-6pm, Wednesday 9:15am-5:30pm, and Thursday 9:15am-2pm.  Many timber framing tools such as the Z5Ec 12" Portable Band Saw and LS 103Ec Chain Mortiser will be on display.

And Mafell will be at the JLC LIVE Residential Construction Show in Providence, Rhode Island March 28-29.  Come visit our demonstration area at Booth U105 in the Upper Level Exhibit Hall showcasing many of Mafell’s most popular tools.  Rumor has it the new PS 2-18 Cordless Jigsaw and Double-Battery K85-18 Circular Saw will be making an appearance!  If you are interested in Attending:  discount passes are available for many Timberwolf Tools customers using Promo Code SEEUSU1052025.

Below you’ll find a teaser video of the Cordless K85-18 in action (which will become available in the USA in the second half of this year).  Early reports from Germany indicate that the double-battery technology really packs a punch:

New Mafell Blades and Carrying Cases

To complement the release of the new PS 2-18 Cordless Jigsaw that will become available in the USA in the second quarter of this year, Mafell recently added W9, M3 and I2 deep-cutting jigsaw blades with the ability to cut Wood, Metal and Insulation materials over 7” thick.  And the innovative W7 and W8 blades assist in producing tear-free cuts on both sides of the blade.  See Blade Set #3 for a combo pack!

MT55 Plunge Saws now have a whopping 13 different blade choices!  New additions include Group-Toothed designs which reduce vibration:  leading to improved cut quality, longer battery life, and less wear of the blade.  There's also special blades for Aluminum & Plastic and Decorative Laminates, and a Thin-Kerf Diamond Blade which has a lower price tag than the traditional thicker kerf options:

Store all those fancy new blades in the Saw Blade Bag, which has five compartments for circular saw blades up to 9-13/16" in diameter (ERIKA 85 and smaller).  Also with robust polyester designs and industrial zippers you’ll find the improved Guide Rail Bag, Tool Bag, and Cooler Bag.  And we finally have a better way of carrying “KSS” cross-cutting tracks in one hand and a systainer case in the other -> be sure to check out the super handy KSS Track Bag.

Wishing you a Happy Spring and hope to see you in person soon:  whether it’s connecting at a Guild event, crossing paths at one of our resellers like Keim Lumber, or at a curbside pickup here in the Windy City.
