- Helps protect surfaces from chipping, and marking pointer provides exact guidance while cutting
- Different sized blades can cut a different sized groove in the splinter guard, so an extra pack is often recommended (especially when using the CUnex W1 Blades which are double-wide)
- One guard comes standard with the P1cc Jigsaw and five guards come standard with the PS 2-18 Cordless Jigsaw
