We’ll be quick today—here are three brief updates as you start your week:

One Week Until Makita Price Increase

On August 1st, most of our Makita prices will go up by five to eight percent due to a Makita USA price increase. We’re sure the last thing everyone wants to hear is more inflation news, but we feel a responsibility to give everyone a heads-up since Timberwolf Tools currently has the best USA prices on these tools. Know that in the background we are always fighting the good fight with our vendors to keep prices low and to delay increases like these as much as possible!

More WoodOwl Ultra Smooth Tri-Cut Sizes

Last Fall, we announced the availability of 12" x 1" and 12" x 3/4" auger bits, and WoodOwl has done an excellent job keeping their shelves stocked for reorders since then. Now for a limited time they have almost every other size available in the 12" length, including the special 1-1/16" Diameter (important since this size is not available in the 7-1/2" length). First come, first served!

New Mafell ERIKA Accessories

Those of you who have invested in a Mafell ERIKA Pull-Push Saw know that historically cross-cutting with the saw has been like driving an automatic, but ripping has been more like driving a stick. No longer! Mafell just announced a new and improved Rip Fence with Micro Adjustment which makes ripping quick and precise. We uploaded a new video with English subtitles below in case your German is spotty like mine :)

Also Mafell announced a new Clamping Fence Support which can upgrade the older Multi-Purpose MFA Guide Fence and Universal Guide Fence to clamp much easier than before. Here is another new video with subtitles below:
