  1. Mafell USA 3-Year Warranty

Hope your 2026 is off to a great start!  Three important announcements for your team as we kick off the New Year:

    3-Year Mafell Warranty is Here

3 Year WarrantyYou asked, our friends in Germany listened!  Effective January 1st 2026, all Mafell tools sold in the USA are eligible for an additional 2 years of warranty on top of the standard 1 year.  Simply visit Mafell's Registration Page when you receive a new tool to register the 6-digit machine number and 7-digit serial number.  This enhancement reflects our commitment to standing behind the quality and durability of every Mafell tool.

Mafell ToolsYou can view the new Warranty Policy Here.  For many years Mafell USA warranty was only a year (even before Timberwolf became an importer in 2007) due to a number of factors such as the higher amps drawn by their powerful tools.  However Germany has made many recent improvements such as overload protection in several new electronic modules.  We experience very few warranty claims,

  3. Mafell Tariffs Update

Important update for your shop:  due to ongoing tariffs and market volatility, Mafell USA prices will increase by about 7.5% on October 1st.  Timberwolf Tools has held off for months by absorbing rising costs, but it's no longer sustainable.  This adjustment ensures that we can continue delivering the quality products and service you need.

On a positive note, we've heard our friends in Germany may repeat their popular Anniversary Sale, which could help offset some of the October increase–stay tuned!

    Guide Rail Innovations

In case you missed it, Mafell introduced a fresh new take on track saw portability. From the pioneers that brought you the popular roll-up Flexi-Guide, the new Guide Rail Set F-MS MAX3 delivers nearly 6 feet of guide rails all stored in a stackable T-MAX Carrying Case.

    What’s Included:

    • 4 × F 37 Guide Rails (4.8 ft total)
    • 3 × F-VS2 Connecting Pieces
    • 1 × F-WA 90 Angle Fence (fixed 90°)
    • 1 × Measuring Stick
    • 1 × Screwdriver
    • 1 × T-MAX Carrying Case

  4. Tools that Dovetail with Your Project Needs

Keeping you up-to-date on tariff developments:  NO PRICE INCREASES YET!  Mafell is committed to maintaining their current prices in the USA through September 30th.  Depending on how trade deals play out, a price increase may be applied in October.  Makita USA is also doing their best to hold prices steady, but will likely be increasing prices in August due to rising import costs.

In light of this news, we recommend placing any orders sooner rather than later!  And know that behind the scenes our suppliers are doing everything they can to absorb costs when possible so that American woodworkers continue to have access to the very best tools.

Tools that Dovetail with Your Project Needs

There is only one router powerful and accurate enough to create 1" deep dovetails in big timbers:  Mafell’s Revamped LO 65Ec which just landed stateside after much anticipation!  So if you have access to 240 volt power, the ARUNDA Dovetail System should be near the top of your tool wishlist.

  8. Summer at Timberwolf Tools

Hope your summer is going well!  Personally I'm excited for the Olympics to start, using my Makita lawn mower, and enjoying some August vacation time like our friends in Germany.  Who's with me?

We have some fun announcements to highlight today, so let’s jump right in:

    New 240V Tool Versions

Recently, Timberwolf Tools received an updated 240 volt 60 hertz version of the Mafell ZSX Ec/400 Chain Beam Saw that replaces the 230V German plug version here in the USA.  Mafell made some important updates to the electronics including an automatic shutoff feature when the tool is under excessive load, and the cord will now have a proper twist lock plug for this market!  We are anticipating similar updates on the ZK 115Ec Notch Cutter by August, the NFU 50 Groove Cutter by December and LO 65Ec Hand Router by April.

Timberwolf Tools fulfills orders on a “first in, first out” basis, so if these tools are essential for your business, we recommend placing an order immediately to secure your place

  9. Merry Christmas from Timberwolf Tools

THANK YOU to our loyal customers and innovative vendors for making 2023 another blessed year at Timberwolf Tools!  With your help, we recently surpassed 50,000 orders—which we never would have dreamed of when I joined the family business 10 years ago.  In a world that seems increasingly divided, we are so grateful for our friendships in the industry that have never been stronger.

As we enjoy this merry season, we’re mindful that it’s not the most wonderful time of the year for everybody.  We had a taste of that earlier this year when our beloved company mascot passed away.  Half Shepherd, half Husky, and fully “Timberwolf” at heart, he had a good life of almost 14 years—yet it’s never easy to part with loved ones.  Please call us anytime if you are going through a difficult time and need prayer.  Ultimately, we take encouragement on these dark solstice days that “The people who walked in darkness have seen a great light.”

    Here's to a successful 2024:
    “May mercy, peace, and love

  10. Quality Cuts in Just One Pass

Did you know the original founders of Labor Day were either carpenters/joiners or machinists(depending on who you ask of course)  This is special to us since Timberwolf Tools customers are often a mix of both!  We hope you have a relaxing holiday and receive some appreciation for making beautiful work that lasts.

One of the fascinating parts of working at Timberwolf Tools is serving two very different customer groups:  ultra fine woodworkers and large timber framers.  In Germany they are called “joiners” and “carpenters” respectively, and each has separate highly specialized tool needs.  Despite the differences, there is one particular tool that is on everyone’s bucket list
